Globalization can affect many aspects of a country such as culture, national defense, politics, and education. There are many positive influences from globalization, for example in education. In Indonesia, some of the positive impacts in education are the ease of accessing information, improving the quality of education and increasing opportunities for student exchanges.

In Indonesia, the influence of globalization in the world of education makes it easier for students to access educational information. One example is the presence of sites that provide books in digital form that can be downloaded and used as references in the teaching and learning process.

The increasing quality of education in Indonesia is also one of the positive effects of globalization. One of the factors is the technology advances, it’s turned out to have a positive impact on improving the quality of education. For example, previously a teacher had to write on the board. Now with the existence of technology, teachers can use computers and the internet to combine writing, images, sound, video and even movies to facilitate the delivery of knowledge.

Student exchange in the world Education often occurs in the era of globalization. Students have the opportunity to study abroad, students are also required to be able to adapt to the new environment and be able to know and understand the culture abroad. From statistical data in 2010 Indonesian students in Europe recorded 4000 lives and that continued to grow until the end of 2013 which reached 7000 people.
